Wii Balance Board Push Up Bars

With Playstation just about ready to come out with their rival to the Nintendo’s monopoly of fitness gaming consoles, The Move, the Wii has released a new add on the highly popular console.

The Wii Balance Push Up bar is the latest addition to the games Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus.

The bars clip onto your balance board and can therefore be used to perform push ups and keep fit!

The bars feature adjustable grips that let you go deeper than you would if the floor stopped you.

In short, you are able to go past the standard bench press point, allowing fore more muscle exercise ad tear.

The new U Fitness and Jillian Fitness Ultimatum titles are also compatible with the new Wii Board Bars.

Of all the games the Wii has come out with in the past few years, it has been the fitness titles which have been earning the most respect, and deservedly so.

In the early stages, the Wii was set on reproducing standard games that were successful on other consoles, and adapting them to Nintendo’s new machine.

However most of these failed, and it is only now that developers are starting to see that fitness is a hug selling point for the Wii.

The Wii Balance Push Up Bar is selling for around  $25 on Amazon as a pre-order, and selected video game stores.
