One of the most famous characters in gaming, Samus, will get another run in Metrod: Other M.
Nintendo announced the action-oriented adventure game at its E3 press conference, with a teaser trailer showing Samus tearing up monsters and aliens with a range of weapons.
Nintendo president Reggie Fils-Aime said the game will “take (the player) deeper into Samus’ story”, and from the looks of the heavy action that could certainly be the case.
The new game is a partnership with the well respected Team Ninja outfit, which was responsible for the Ninja Gaiden franchise.
It looks like Metroid: Other M will be released in 2010.
