Filed under It’s the news every Nintendo fan was hanging out to hear: a new Super Mario Galaxy 2 is on the way and will be hitting the shelves in 2010.
The sequel to the very successful Super Mario Galaxy will be exclusively available on the Nintendo Wii, and can be played both in single-player and two player co-op modes.
In this version Yoshi – an endearing favourite of Mario fans – is going to be a playable character and can be inflated to reach new areas in the game.
The footage of the game revealed at Nintendo’s E3 press conference was very promising, with epic boss battles and various modes of transport for Mario (flying, swimming, rolling a snowball) shown.
