Puzzles Puzzles Puzzles!!!
Yes, even in a world where we are invaded by high tech, updated and digitally mastered video games, there is still room for games which are all about puzzles and brain teasers.
Rooms: The Main Building is one of these games, and is the newest release from Hudson Entertainment.
As a player, your goal in each stage is to move your character from block to block in order to reach the exit door.
But don’t be fooled, things are not as easy as they seem. For starters you can only move the block that you are actually occupying, and you can only walk horizontally between blocks.
Walls and locked doors conspire to hinder your progress, while ladders, keys, and tele-porter type things offer ways to get around these obstacles.
There’s heaps of elements in Rooms to make each puzzle extremely difficult an fun to master.
Unlike most other puzzle games, Rooms is challenging, complex and a real brain buster.
But it’s still fun!!!!
The only downside of the game is that the blurry visuals can often make it hard to pick out helpful elements in busy squares, and can force you to make regretful moves.
There are 80 puzzles in single player mode and there is also the option to play 20 more in a two-player battle mode.
Rooms: The Main Building is selling for the bargain price of $30 on Nintendo DS and is a good buy for any puzzle lover.
