Red Dead Redemption

Get ready to dust off your spurs, and get your cowboy hat on, for the epic country killing video game called Red Dead Redemption.

Surprisingly, for a video game, this release has a lot of life to it, and you could be forgiven for thinking it really was just a film adaptation.

For starters, there is great detail to life in the Western world.

The are wild horse roaming the area, there’s prostitutes and gangs hanging around on all street corners, and there are also the odd tumbleweed that blows by every now and then.

In addition, there are unique personalities of each town and farm area you visit throughout the epic journey.

As a main cowboy in town, you really just wonder around and experience life in the time and era.

In the evening you can have a drink, listen to some music, and see the locals carousing with the resident ladies of the night.

If you stay a little longer, fights will break out and open the opportunity for some action style game play for users.

The good thing is the cops won’t jump in, so killing someone has street repercussions, but not legal ones.

There are also the typical country style activities to take part in, such as horse riding and even bull riding.

In Summary, Red Dead Redemption is a lot like Sim City, but the Western era, new age version of it.

With a great story theme, it’s hard not to like.
