If they could make a video game out of the Saw horror franchise then they can make one out of a television series, right?
Well, maybe not.
Prison Break has been a hit on our small screens for many years, taking out many awards and rating through the roof in many different countries.
But its latest assault on our video game screens has been less impressive.
Deep Silver are the brains behind the release of the game, which is available now on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 gaming consoles.
In the game Prison Break: The Conspiracy, you assume the role of Tom Paxton who while in prison, is really a covert agent working for The Company.
Your job is to do some investigating around and figure out why Michael Scofield is really behind bars and ensure that his brother Lincoln Borrows goes through with his death sentence.
Emulating prison life was always going to be tough, but the game does a pretty good job of achieving it.
But, there are just too many boring scenes and crappy plot points to allow this game to get a good review.
The many fistfights are extremely boring and tedious and the stealth missions that constantly assault you throughout the game are a killer!
The story may appeal to fans of the series that long to interact with virtual representations of their favorite characters, but even the most ardent Prison Break fanatic should stay far away from this release.
