Zen Studios upcoming Planet MiniGolf for the PlayStation Network grabs the concept of mini golf and takes it on a journey never seen before.
If you thought the shortest version of the world famous game is designed only for synthetic grass and a few obstacles, think again.
The new title takes users to all corners of the globe, playing the sport on ice, in the water, in coves and even in the middle of an English fashion convent.
Zen has made a name for itself with its respected Zen Pinball debut in 2009, and now a year later they are following on the god form, or so it seems.
From the little that we have seen, the new release will be similar to the pinball version and have some interesting ball physics for users.
Planet MiniGolf will feature four different themed environments with four courses in each with varying difficulty.
As expected, each course has nine holes, adding up to a total of 144 separate holes in the game.
There are also so-called ‘wacky’ courses that combine the precision of the harder minigolf holes with puzzles that you’ll need to solve to progress.
Six characters are there to choose from, and there are heaps of unlocking to allow you to custom make his or her style and appearance
Playing wise, there are special effects, including ‘power ups’ and a few others along the journey.
Planet MiniGolf is due for release later this year and should only cost you $10 and will be compatible with the Playstation Move when it comes out soon.
