Mass Effect 2 Mass Effect 2

Mass Effect is an action role-playing game developed by BioWare for the Xbox 360 in 2007. Three years later and the sequel, Mass Effect 2, is ready to tackle the video game world.

Released a few weeks ago, Mass Effect 2 is set two years after the events that transpired in the first game.

Mass Effect 2 also directly uses players completed save data from the first game to influence events and story lines within the second game.

For those of you who are not familiar with the game, Mass Effect is set in the 2180s, with the player assuming the role of an elite human soldier named Commander Shepard, set out to explore the Galaxy on a starship, the SSV Normandy.

The follow up version seems to have listened to the entire criticisms lid out at the game, and implemented change to the right areas.

Mass Effect 2 has a surprisingly well-written script with improved graphics which enhance the multi universe game play.

At times during the game you will find yourself engaging in full-length conversations, as well as blood filled battles.

When communicating, the game uses a dialogue tree for choosing your characters’ response to situations. You will be offered many choices to respond to dialogue and how you respond will dictate your progress.

To finish the game will take a lot of concentration, and it really is a release that will test you, and then lure you back into playing it again once you have finished it.
