And the game is likely to have a touch of quality about it thanks to the involvement of legendary industry figure Hideo Kojima.
The game will be developed by Mercury Systems and is expected to hit the shelves for Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2010.
Spruiking the game at the E3 convention, Konami suggested the latest entry in the series would be grossly different to the game’s origins.
