For those of you gamers who are finding it hard to put aside enough time for new releases these days, Half Minute Hero is just the game for you.
As its title suggests, your role is to save the world in just 30 seconds!
Half Minute Hero is the kinds of game you really need to read the instructions of before beginning. If you don’t, the game will be over before you have any idea of what is going on.
From what we can gather, the basin plot involves a narcissistic and crazy evil lord who seems intent on destroying the world.
Luckily a time goddess magically appears and allows users to try again with a time limit.
Like regular role-playing games, you’re given a quest and then must head to your destination, whether it be a castle or some other landmark, to defeat the bad guy.
The only difference is that in this game, you are given half a minute, instead of days, to complete it all!
Half Minute Hero is already available on the PlayStation Portable in Japan and is set to come to North America this October, with Australia to see it soon after.
As with most PSP releases, the graphics are average, and in this game they can often take away from a rather interesting gaming concept.
Half Minute Hero is the kind of game that will frustrate the hell out you, leave you kicking the screen when you can’t finish it, but give you an unbelievable amount of joy when you actually pull it off.
Overall, it is quite and interesting little game that should provide all users with hours of unique entertainment.
