Boom Blox Bash Party

Sometimes we get a kick out of the simple things in life. Take knocking down blocks for example. It was so much fun when we were kids, why can’t we enjoy it still now?

Well you can, with Boom Blox Bash Party, a collaborative effort between Electronic Arts and Steven Spielberg.

The game is pretty simple at its fundamental level: destroy blocks and get kicks out of it. But a huge variety of levels, a big range of modes, excellent multiplayer action and interesting screenplay make this game so much more.

When playing in the singly-player mode, you are making your way through an amusement park and meeting the various block-related challenges that come your way. Each section of the amusement park has a number of games and a different theme.

In each level there are objectives to try to reach, such as taking out a number of blocks within a timeframe or tallying up enough points in a limited number of turns. When you get these achievements you pick up bronze, silver and gold medals.

The multiplayer component is probably the most fun, though. You can team up for fun coordinated block-busting action or oppose each other in serious block-chucking showdowns.

Either way you are sure to have fun!
